Greetings to all of my friends,
I have been a member of this Forum for a little over three years now, but it doesn't seem like it has been that long. I have made some good friends here, learned a LOT about TR7s and probably aggravated a few people along the way. Many members have come and gone, but there are a lot that contribute on a regular basis.
This Forum really kicked off in May of 2002 and now has 3099 members. danny is the member that is has contributed longer that any other member, from 28 Jul 2002 to 28 Aug 2009.
I have enjoyed my time here and I hope that I have helped others to keep their cars on the road. I never, ever see another TR7 on the road anymore unless I am at a Regional function. I know that there are a lot of members that come here often, but never post. While they are learning about their cars, they are missing out on the wonderful experience of making new friends and becoming part of something much greater than just a web site forum. The participation is in itself part of the rewards of this forum.
If it were easy to drive a TR7, then everybody would have one! I believe they are becoming much rarer than Ferraris or Jags or even Vipers. All you need is a big check book to drive one of those cars.
TR7s require a commitment.
We have lost some wonderful friends over the past few years and I do miss them dearly. We are not promised how long we will be here, so let's make everyday a Triumph Day and not procrastinate about our cars.
With dearest regards,
jclay
