My Spider doesn't get many miles on it when I'm working on the island - by the time I'm done working in the Land Rover, it's too late for much extra driving. This island is small enough so that it's hard to get out of 3d gear on our roads.
However, starting tomorrow, the TR-7 becomes the "mainland car" for a series of presentations I'm making this summer. So it must sit in the ferry terminal parking lot, wait 7-10 days for me to return, then start and travel hundreds of miles without incident.
It now has fresh oil and a new filter, and at 108,000 miles, seems to run quite well. We'll see how the next 1,500 + miles of driving to these talks goes.
