I think the pedal cars should realy be refered to as TR7.5's or TR8.5's take your pick.

Just a thought. Some custom decals of the sort would be kind of neat

I had thought of putting a square receiver type trailer hitch on my car to accept a small platform that would carry the pedal car, for shows.

just trawling google like you do and found this random post about TR7 pedal cars to my knowledge all of them were red & DHC although this person seems to remember something a little different:

Better re-edit though I cant believe you havent put anything about the interior - one TR7 I remember in the 1970's was actually made into a pedal car available to buy at Harrods, it was in white, had the same black vinyl roof and the tackiest incidental orange tartan I have ever clapped eyes on. Having said that when I saw the real version it didnt surprise me at all. BL certainly gave those cars some weird colours of the trim.

Enjoyed reading about your Shadow in Triumph World [:)]- poor thing, its really been through it all in the past hasn't it!Must be a phoenix. I'm looking forward to seeing the miniature TR7 as I've not seen one before.

and here it is with new plates also a windscreen seen as it had lost its original at sometime,
i am going to have a go at making a aley roll bar for it soon an i also have new set of wheels when i get around to fitting them:
