It's sold.

Postby danny » 01 May 2010 15:48

I have just sold my TR7 and I am kind of regretting it.[V] I really liked the car and knew every nut and bolt after nine years of ownership, two years of which was a complete restoration. The TR7 has moved to a new owner only a few miles away, he intends to do classic rallying and competition hill climbs, so i am pleased that it will be put to good use. I now intend to buy a Stag.
Thanks to all on this forum who have provided lots of help and support.

Cheers
Danny

I have been tempted by stags too, but you must go with the rover V8 instead of the stock V8.

Nothing wrong with the Stag V8.
And it sounds much better than the RV8 [8D]

I'd have to agree with Beans. An original Stag V8 sounds fantastic (and after all, an original Stag V8 engine is like two TR7 engines bolted together!). Although I too am sad that Danny has lost his TR7,I'm looking forward to the new Stag!
