Odd,

How much does your trailer weigh? Does it have brakes? Any chance you could post a photo or two of your hitch installation? Thanks.

Sure, the fastening of the rear bumper have been beefed up 'slightly' but that's it,
and it's not externally visible - since I didn't want a spiders web of girders (and lots
of extra holes!) fitted to/under the car...

Mine is a Polar 300 (from 1980, just as the car itself), my friends is a fibreglass Predom
- and there's a sea of others like them...

I didn't realise caravans went that light, a friend of mine had one that weighed in at 1600Kgs and i just assumed they were all around that weight. to have one less than 750kgs would be fantastic, i'm looking forward to the pics!

Cheers Odd.

Nice little trailer; with a name like Smutti, though, I don't think I could park in my mother's driveway!

I'll bet no one calls thier IKEA furniture by its' IKEA name. Of course you would have to remove the decal...
