Approx £17,000 in GBP.

I don't think I'd pay that much for my dream spec TR7V8.....

This guy and his ex partner got the new Spider logos made. To him it's a business. He has no emotional attachment to the car.

Someday someone somewhere will pay him his price for the car. Too bad it was Monica's car and not his that was in the Lady GaGa video, then he could claim it was world famous!

If John can get that money for his car more power to him. He specializes in Spiders and is going for the bucks on this one. Don't know about emotional attachment...$25,000 pays for a lot of emotion.[:)]

There's a Spider listed at $12,000 in Pacific Northwest and I thought that was high.

To put this into some prespective if someone has a 1981 TR8, approximately 413 constructed with the same if not lower mileage and condition should it be worth 2 or 3 times as much as the asking price of this TR7 Spider? Lets see someone ask $50,000 or $75,000 for a TR8 of equal quality. I just have to sit back and smile! Oh even better what about a TR8 coupe with the same mileage or less in perfect condition? They are about 116 to 158 per year so is that now a $100,000.00 wedgie? [:D]

Hello Everyone:

This was an old ad and now is taken down.

It was a untouched, all original Spider with complete documentation including the Factory Window Sticker and all three titles ever issued to the car.

Any car is worth whatever the seller and buyer agree to on any given day. Do you ever remember hearing beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

Thanks for all of your kind words and hope to see you all in this forum in the future.

Luckily for traders some "beholders" should pay for a decent pair of
glasses before they walk into a showroom with a fat wallet [:D]
