Revolutions or Compo's

Postby Hoops » 04 Mar 2010 15:11

Cant decide between Revolution or Compomotive alloys for my new-to-be-TR7, or just get the standard alloys sprayed black/gold (for a TR7 Premium)....

Anyone got pics of their 7's with these specific alloys?

Ta,

Rob

If it's a true Premium I'd stick with standard alloys and stay with original colour they were supplied with. There were only 400 made. Anything else would be like taking a TR8 and putting in a slant 4 to get better gas mileage.

Spyder has a good point, otherwise it is hard to choose. Revolutions .. I think .. no, um yes.

Yes and no, advantage with wheels is that you can easily swap them,
so if the car still has the original alloys I'd keep them with the car,
but not necessarily use them ...

I vote for Paul's photo. Even if it is quite large.[;)]

The photo is mine, the car is in Norway with Compomotive 15" FHs on it, the Revolution 15" wheels are on another local black 8.

<font size="3"> The picture may be big, but I sure like the effect of the reflection of the road's painted line on the side of the car. Imagine the swage line shaped like that! Hmmm...
