Hi Zoe,
Its nothing to do with being 'technical', its just your last post didn't seem to need an answer!!
Plus I think we're all fed up of waiting (along with yourself) to see the new 'Amber' in her fresh new colour scheme!
But I'm sure the wait will be worth it....just show us the photos when its done.

I just don't see where this post was asking for a responce??[?][?]
You were informing of the progress. Did that somehow ask a question?

I posted photos of the progress of my TR8 back a couple of years ago when I finally got it in paint. I didn't get a responce either but didn't get all upset about it. I saw that people had looked and figured they just didn't have a comment. However, everytime I have asked a question, I have had responces trying to help. This forum has been of tremendous benifit to me. It also has helped me spend some money I may have not without it.[;)]

Best wishes on the body/paintwork.

Zoe you've picked it up wrong, there was no 'nastiness' ment atall!!! I was just saying your last post didn't seem to need an answer/response, and that everyone on here is aware of Ambers colour change, which is imminent and when its done it would be great to see the photos.

If your reading into peoples responses (or mine!) or no responses and feeling negativeness then the problem lies with you! Everyone on here has one common bond and through that we all help each other.

You seem very quick to jump to the wrong conclusion! and slate someone!

This forum is populated by people who are more than willing to help out, give encouragement to those who need it and has a comraderie not found on other auto forums with the exception of the Spitfire Magazine forum. While there is give and take and many points of view, it proves, to borrow a 1960's Honda advertising slogan, "The nicest people drive a Triumph."

As intonation, body lamguage etc. can not be seen, emoticons not withstanding, any slights omissions or perceived bruskness I'm sure are not intended and shouldn't be taken as such.

I too look forward to seeing your car in Triton, one of my favourite TR7 colours, (and I'm not even a green car type of guy). I would have considered painting my Yellow TCT in Triton but it was not a colour available in 1979 so wouldn't be accepted under our Collector Plate program.

I don't see that Dave had anything to apologise for however, I'm sure we all hope the car turns out great. If the painter values his hide he will be hoping so too.
