How can anyone say TR7s are ugly?

Postby andyf » 20 Oct 2009 13:13

A glorious, if rather cold day on Sunday here in the South West of England. So a visit to Brean Sands seemed in order - a round trip of about 160 miles, and I had the new compomotive wheels fitted that I got last week, as well as a new wooly hat and the heater on full up the motorway!

I`m not sure parking that close to salt water was a good idea though. [8D]

Andy, those pictures are lovely! Great setting and lighting, and you really nailed it with that last one - good job!

Lovely wheels there Andy. Any problems with clearance?

Can't resist throwing in a harbour shot of my own...

I would like to compliment all you brave people, getting those
beautiful 7s that close to SALT. WOW.

Fortunately no. I fitted them Saturday and took the car out for a "spirited" drive locally for a few miles just to check. I must say I am extremely pleased with the look of the wheels, I think they look really good. One of my better purchases.

I actually have a great shot of my old Triton-Green TR8 Car& Driver cover car, parked along the beach in Pensicola FLA while I was down there for a show some years back. Turned out great and even looks like a staged commercial type shot. if I can find it Il post it too [:D]
