I'm sure it says somewhere in the Untold story book that you have to have one hell of a spoiler as on the group 44 car to have any effect on the Tr7's handling

just for an example , formula SAE is a low speed, low mass competition.
these cars get around of 60kg of downforce on 100km/h. dry weight of cars is around 220 kg (300kg with driver) As you can see the wings make around the 1/3 of the car profile, they are multiple aerofoil wings designed by some of the smarter kids on those collages.


And the cars without the aerodynamics fill the top 10 places in most of the competitions.
just because there is no gain from wings on low speeds.
if you want to do some beneficial aerodynamic improvements on the car try to work underneath the car. At least it will be quieter on the motorway and give better MPG's [;)]
