any one local to me seat required asap

Postby birminghamtr7 » 28 Jul 2009 17:56

my car is almost finished [:)] unfortunatly my time is up at current unit and have until friday to get car complete ( ish ) my new unit i am renting will be a few weeks away in the meantime my mates garage will do free storage dont tell them that. cunning plan really ive booked it in for a couple of jobs to sort leaky sump gasket, tracking and mot and have told him no rush !! only i have no seats / seat at retrimmers could be a while. he tells me he only needs one seat in for the mot. so im looking to get something by friday for free, loan or very cheap in the dudley area.

oh other jobs i need to do as soon as i get it back is fit roof does anyone know some mobile who does this or is it relativly easy. this is the reason i cant leave car at home yet as its not watertight and i dont have any off road parking. soon to be resolved.

Not exactly local, but if you fancy a trip to Stratford upon Avon I've got one you can borrow at no charge. Just bring it back when you're done!

I do have the seat base as well, but I'm not too sure where the bolts are.

Heh, you're half right!

I do have a red '7, and that is at least part of the reason for my username, but unfortunately I wasn't near Bourton on the Water, and my car hasn't moved in nearly two years now [B)](working on that - see my blog!).
