Was a lovely evening last night and the kids were elsewhere so me and the wife took the TR for a run into the Lakes for a couple of hours, today I will start bare shelling it for the rebuild and V8 conversion, sorry about picture quality its a rubbish camera phone.

THINK!

There are loads of TR7\V8 conversions out there to be had for
silly money. Keep yours original[ish] and buy another!

i almost agree but then i have both i would say though that with petrol as it is the original FHC does get used more than the Grinnall

but then there is nothing more satisfying than the sound of a V8

[8 whole cylinders worth of punch to ram the world through the windshield and out the rear view mirror. Car & Driver]

I hear what you are saying but I have already bought a ropey TR7V8, it is gonna supply all the running gear for the conversion and then it will be offered very very very cheap [;)]
