Was the TR7 the last?

The MGF was the last mass produced british sports car. It has as much in common with the MGB and C that came before than the TR7 does with the TR4-6. Interestingly it is also now one of the last british small scale production sports cars left in its TF guise although now under part chinese ownership they are designed and built at Longbridge still with a tiny network of dealers. The company was relaunched in September last year.

Yes Wayne I see your point about the MGF.
But I was originally asking what other British mass produced sports (convertables) were on sale at the end of the TR7's production.
I can only think of low volume cars from Morgan, TVR etc.

May be registered in 81 but it is a canley car by the chassis plate.

I have a triple family celebration on the Sunday so I can only be at Billing on the Saturday this year!

If you are only going one day then Sunday is best, more to see.
Lots of people camp over whole weekend, road run on Saturday so a majority of the cars go on the run so less cars on Sat.
