I'm going to be staying on a nearby farm (nearby to Stoneleigh that is) otherwise we'd have been pretty near each other as I'll be going via Cheltenham and up the Fosse Way. But I thought I'd bounce this thread back up to the top in case anyone else who might be doing the same route was going to miss it.

Zoe;

I am heading up from Devon, probably with some others and I am unsure whether we are planning on sticking to the motorways or going cross country. When I know more I will let you know.

Andy, Zoe, I am still planning to go up with Jeff but I haven't had a chance to speak to him about route. Last year we stuck to motorway which was easy but a bit dull!

I'll get in touch with Jeff & let you know a.s.a.p. Only thing is I may not be able to take the TR as I have some parts for Chris Turner & I don't think it will all fit in the 7[:(] Jeff is TRless at present anyway, I will be giving him a lift & we will probably meet at Taunton (like we did last year for the national day). So, just a question of which way we go after we get up past Bristol.

I shall go & see if the spare parts will fit in my 7 ........

Don't forget midday meeting at the TRDC stand... and a chance to meet Tony Lee, Triumph Chief Development Engineer.

Ah Andy, sadly the DHC has gone to live in Eastleigh, so unless I have parts sticking out the sunroof of the FHC I may have to use the daily driver[:(]

I have had one go today at getting a DHC hood frame in the boot of the FHC, it is an inch too wide[:(] And there are several other parts to go in as well - not looking promising.

Oh yes sorry Tony, I forgot you were selling the DHC. Might be a bit more problematic now.

Still, a hood frame stuck out of a sunroof on the FHC would be an interesting sight on the M5. [:)]

ok Zoe

the other two cars are going in different direction as one of our members will be in coventry that weekend anyway. so at this moment we have a convey of two. a run through the A roads sounds good as it'll remind me of when we used to visit my nan up in Harvington/Evesham and uncle in Stow

choose a meeting point and i'll plug the co-ordinates in the Sat nav and meet you 9:30ish

Hello Zoe & John, your timing sounds about right for me now as I need to drop in to somebody at Berkeley at about 9ish, and Tony and Jeff are setting off later than that. If you don`t mind me tagging along please let me know.

Andy.
