TR Drivers magazine

Postby simon hubbard » 16 Feb 2009 08:00

Hello everyone, i would say belated happy New Year greetings but as we are mid way through February i think i missed the boat slightly!

I have not posted on the forum for a long time now although i read the messages regularly.

My TR7 is still tucked up in the garage with its head stud firmly stuck on.

I have not had the time or money to carry out any further work on it. The money situation we all know about, work has been really crazy and we have had some health issue over the past few months.

Anyway, i just wondered if anyone knew when the next copy of the TR Drivers magazine is due? I received the Christmas issue but i was not sure of the date for the next one?

Regards

Simon

Thanks for that Chris, i was just curious and wanted to make sure i had not been forgotten!!

Yes we are all well thank you, the time and effort has been on keeping the 800's going - so the TR has had to take a back seat. We are planning to go to Stoneleigh next month so hopefully see you then. Is everything ok with you?

Regards

Simon

Got mine this morning - a good read as always.

Like Steve's post above, when reading the Sprint article I was immediately stuck by the fact that the car is registered consecutively with Steve's development TR8 coupe.

Do any of our TR7/8 gurus know of other surviving prototype or development cars registered in this same series of numbers?

WAC 272S and WAC 275S were also factory development TR8s , same colour as Steves was. 272 was the best TR8 Ive ever driven, fuel injected, Lucas development car with 168 bhp and Abingdon developed suspension.
