Whilst I take your point Paul, the original question here was:

can anyone recommend (or otherwise) Robsport's cars?

we all tried to answer that as honestly as possible so I don't really think that fairness comes into it this time.
Can't help wondering if Mr T made the trip though, and what the outcome was if he did?

Hmmmm, I'm sure that post wasn't there when I started typing my last reply! Looking at the times of posting we were probably both sitting at our computers typing at the same time [;)]

Out of curiosity:
What's the Clan Tartan? Is it the red, green, tan or blue check?.. [:D]

It's one of them modern ones in four quarters:

front left green
front right red
rear left blue
rear right tan

That's for a kilt, of course, for other items arange the four quarters as you see fit [;)]

Hmm good point Paul, maybe we could insist that all metal parts, belt buckles, chains supporting the sporran, matal parts on the sprorran and the kilt pin be rusty (or at least coloured to look rusty)! And, of course, the kilt pin, which often has a clan crest design, should have the Triumph laurel wreath.

Please, though, no one suggest that it also needs a rust hole, I'd struggle to suggest where that should go - especially considering what is usually worn under a kilt [;)]

My understanding of the kilt wearing Scots is that nothing is worn under the kilt, it should all be in perfect working order [:D]

I'm in the same boat, as my new car has a tan interior (the red hat matched my last car!). I can't remember where I've seen it (possibly an advert in a classic car magazine?)but I'm sure I've seen a whole roll of "new old stock" tan "TR7 tartan" advertised somewhere.

I think I bought it - and it was roughly 4*4 feet of tan textile. Not enough to make a kilt out of it
(when my seats and doors have had what they need). Not even a scarf...
