Correct, I've got electric window winders in my '8. But they weren't of my own design, it was a
purpose built kit intended for the Wedge. Sold by Moss Europe around ten years ago, I don't
know if they have any kits left still. It was a complete kit with all new hardware in the winding
mechanism and the motors etc internal in the doors. My only addition to the project was
discarding the hideous switch-carrying boxes (intended to be fitted over the hole for the oem
window winder) - and fitting the switches where the car was intended to have them already
by the Triumph designers: In the flat outer side areas of the center console.
I then fitted TR8-logoed blanking plates over the winder holes...
And! While I was digging around in the doors I also fitted keyless entry technology
- and barrel-less door handles to the car:
