My son tried to convince me that I needed a strut brace for mine.
1) I couldn't work out how it would clear my pancake filter on top of the V8 and still provide any rigidity.
2) With a DHC there's probably not much benefit since the chassis flexes about anyway. (Extended Grinnal sills would probably help here but have you seen the rust behind some of them)
Sounds good for a FHC though...
