Interesting Mail from Rimmer

I had requested a quote on a Quaife and Gear set from Rimmer a couple weeks back. Today I got a nice letter stating that they hadn't heard back from me. They offer to price match any lower retail price to the best of thier ability. Must be identical product in quality, specification, source and manufacture, available for imediate delivery. They call it thier "Price Challenge" First I was made aware of this policy.

Is it a case of 'desperate times call for desperate measures' ???

They must be feeling the credit crunch as well !! so maybe they're offering it to gain sales!

Having said that, if they just dropped their prices they would sell a lot more stuff!!! ( I don't like rimmers [:(!] )
