Computer Numpty

Postby REPLIC8 » 05 Nov 2008 21:31

Is it just me being a dimwit, or is it incredibly difficult to get pictures etc onto a posting? Just taken 20 minutes ( with the help of my ever understanding wife) to get a scanned image into a reply! Anyone got a simple way of doing these things? Bear in mind my computer skills are VERY LIMITED. Cheers [8D]

You're not the 1st person to ask. Check the forum topic on this link.

First you have to realize you can't upload a picture directly to a posting, you first have to upload it to a picture hosting site then copy the "address" into the posting. There are many hosting sites. I happen to use Photobucket.

Once realizing this the directions in the above link may make more sense.

Once you have your "site" on one of these hosting sites it is easier to email links to pictures or slideshows to people on your email contacts rather than cluttering their computers with a bunch of pictures which they may appreciate.

You learn to do by doing.
