Wedges in non-Anglo countries

Postby omichaelshar » 24 Dec 2007 07:53

I have always wondered about the market BL missed on with the Wedge.

Evidently this nice DHC on eBay (Item number: 190183911957) made it SE as far as Italia and was looked after:

I am keen to hear of other examples that made it outside of market, East of Europe and beyond, or in South America.

If you look at the picture from the side you see the wing flasher repeater
- mandatory on Wedges sold in Italy. And recommended in other EUropean countries as well...

[You can also see he/she cannot pack the soft top correctly...]

The wing flasher repeaters were standard fitment in the Netherlands and Belgium as well. Only madatory here if you've a towbar under the car ...

Only the frontflashers are in the middle by this car, we have them on the outside.

Henk, Beans, I put mine on like that, [one in, one out] when I put
the car together 5 years ago. Its been on my "gunna" do, [going to
do], list ever since, to fix them.

The inspection station that did my road worthy did not notice, &
if anyone else has, they have not mentioned it.
