Hi Chris and for others not in the know yes Scotlamd & the rest of the home nations did ebter, and none made it through the group stage, in my opionin they werent in the toughest of groups Croatia the exception, england thrown a lifeline ( Irasral beating Russia) all England needed to do was just get one point, how many chances do you need? The best team won on the night and deserved to go o next years finals. Tell you what though if any of our other home nations had been in England's postion Wed night they wouldve shown my soul for there country & grabbed it with both hands!!

I know what you guys are feeling. I'm a Bengals fan here in the States and the team is in bad shape and are now 3-7....[B)]Now I don't think mathematically they can get a spot in the playoffs so do I stop watching?.....no. Could I be working on the 7....yes...So torn but I am a fan and should watch regardless if they get creamed or not... When I see they're down by 21 I sometimes drift off and think...hey I could be doing a timing chain right now......then Palmer throws a touchdown and I'm engrossed again...timing chain what? Huh? LOL. Proud Bengals fan living in Bandwagon Patriot Nation.

I am a Chargers fan (spent a year living there in 1986) and saw them play at The Jack Murphy stadium. With satelite TV we now get regular live NFL games which is cool and last week I went to see The Giants play the Dolphins at our new Wembly stadium. Now the Dolphins are 0-8, thats bad.

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.
