Jackshaft Endfloat

Postby moodyblue » 23 Jun 2015 15:23

Does anyone know the measurement / tolerance for the TR7 jackshaft endfloat, and should sprocket alignment be taken at the mid-point of the float?
Thanks
Al

Hi, I can't find a cle in either w/shop manual but a good guide would be a normal camshaft, 4-8 thousands of a
inch if over 10 thou would start looking for wear on something.
With that sort of cle alignment should not be a problem.

Thanks Scott, I couldn't find anything either, which would indicate that it isn't usually a problem. I' ll measure it just out of curiosity, fit it as is and forget it.
Thank
Al
