Tips on installing door cards

Postby MikeRotherham » 23 Mar 2014 15:38

Hello,
I was wondering if any one had any tips when installing door cards.

I've had preliminary fitting session for the door cards. They are not originals but reproduction ones.

Couldn't get all the snap fasteners to line up. Have others had a problem with this?

Regards

Mike

I fitted new ones not too long ago and it was pretty straight forward. Had to cut the cloth out for the window crank and I think the ash tray hole was a bit of fight but other than that it all lined up well.

You have to push the clips well into the slot provided. Sometimes there is a piece of the overfolded vinyl that gets in the way and needs to be trimmed off. supercass

Thanks for your replies and suggestions.
The weather looks like it should be reasonable this weekend.
I'll have another go at the door cards.

Mike.
