Touch up Paint

Postby Milanoverde » 21 Apr 2009 17:10

I want to get some touch up paint for my 1980 DHC. According to the plate, the paint code is NCG White. None of the websites that proclaim they can match any color has a listing for it!

Any ideas?

A good body repair supply store can scan the color of your paint and get a near exact match. By scanning the existing paint, it would better match any fading that may have taken place.

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

Not too sure where you are, (think it may be the states). But if it is the UK, Halfords do paints for Triumph. They have it under the Rover group listing in the system.

Went to local Duncan Auto to see about Poseidon Metalic Green for TCT, they found paint code under British Motor Corporation. They can also mix paint and put it in aerosol can. If they can do that in a little town you should be able to find a local auto parts store that can do it with no problem not to mention an auto paint supplier.

I should have been more specific. I am in the USA. Just looking to touch up some minor scratches and also get a can of aerosol. If you know someone in the states or a UK company that can ship to me, I would love to know!
