Great list of cars Christopher, I am struggling with 2 restorations at the moment, both Java green both SJW, one a Sprint and the other an ex factory development car.

I think between you both, you have some of the finest and certainly some of the rarest TR7/8s going. And I make no apologies for saying it but you are both genuine TR7/8 enthusiasts who have a wealth of knowledge between you.

That is indeed one very impressive collection you have put together Christopher.[:)]

Yeh I'm struggling with just one but it's almost there.

Solid roof, A/C and Alloy tank going on over the Winter and that's me done except for driving it.

I think its great that these beasts of the 70s are being saved by a generation of nutters with an addiction. Personally, whilst I'd love a harem of 7s...I prefer to love just the one [;)]

1978 TR8 - ACN in white - needs full restoration, will be done over the next 18 months in USA.

1978 - TR7 Sprint in Carmine - this car has just started its restoration ... hopefully it will start body repairs in January 2015.

1976 - TR7 in Carmine - very early UK car - restoration not due to start till Summer 2015

1976 - TR7 in Red - early UK car - restoration not due to start till Autumn 2015.

1980 - TR7 UK Premium Edition with Silver stripes - restoration due to start in December 2015

There are a few other cars which are either in storage or on the road and being used by myself and my family.

ACN is the chassis designation for the prototype TR8s ... I will let my learned colleagues tell you more!

1975-78, Speke-built cars (Prefix: ACG, ACH, ACL, ACN, ACT, ACW)
1978-79, Canley-built cars (Prefix: TCG, TCN, TCT, TCV, TCW)
1979-80, Canley-built car (Prefix: TP)
1980-81, Solihull-built cars (Prefix SAT) sometime May,June 81.

Approximately 150 ACN TR8 coupes were built at Speke in 1977 for the North American market. Most were shipped over, but a few were kept back in the UK for experimental purposes.
