Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

was round at my mum's house the other day and she said do you still need that thing that is sitting behind the hut?
Confused I went to see what it was.
As I went round I seen this.
The last time I had see it was 10 YEARS AGO
It was still turning smooth and the last time I had seen it was covered in polythene and wrapped up.
Do you think it would still be ok?

Hi Stevie,

Cant see why not if protected from elements, water can only really get inside via the breather in the top of the box, so should be ok, would clean that selector shaft up before moving it so not to tear the seal.

Cheers John

Funnily enough, there's a LT77 gearbag behind my shed that's been sitting there forgotten for years, I don't think it'd turn any more as it's probably got a gut full of water by now.
