Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Can anyone recommend shocks to use and where to get a valve cover gasket?

Thanks,

Sean

I used KYB gas shocks. You can get these and valve cover gasket from Victoria British in Kansas.

Hi Sean, Re your need for rocker cover gasket - if you search the web or ebay you will find several sellers of new gaskets made/molded from silicone rubber. Unlike the more traditional cork/composite based design, the silicone version does not dry out, are reusable, reasonable price and should provide long term leak free service. I have been using for past 4 years and completely leak free. See following link for one example. http://www.gasketinnovations.com/index. ... uct/93-tr7

I recently got front KYB gas shocks to replace the Konis when one went limp. Much more comforatable and less crashy than the Konis. Got them from ebay, circa £90 a pair IIRC.

I buy all my parts from either; Woody and Clint at The Wedge Shop, Victoria British or here...
