Another TR7 on the road!

Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Another TR7 on the road!

Postby gregtheo » 30 Apr 2014 21:27

I put my TR7 in for an MOT today and I'm pleased to say it passed!
This has been done on a very tight budget and has cost me £500 including buying the car!
Still needs a respray and a new interior but the important thing is its road legal!
I'm going to be using it as my daily and I have to say its already proving to be alot fun to drive!

Thanks
Greg

Greg - have you sent an image for the Wedge Wall yet? On the road for £500? A real bargain! Please bring it to Coventry in September!

Thanks mate!

Oh god I couldn't stand driving a boring corsa!

My dad set a challenge of owning 5 different british cars in a row, this is number 2 as my first car was a little Rover 25, going to take some getting used to the TR7 but I'm already loving it, gets so much attention!

Please, don't be so modest! I'm more than sure any attention thrown your way is from your personal magnetism and fine manly appearance. The car is secondary in attraction.

That's terrific, well done. Just keep painting the Kurust & waxoyl on till you are ready to get the respray done. Inca is one of my favourite Wedge colours.

Just in time to enjoy the better weather! It is getting better, isn't it?
