TR7 poster

Postby Roy Hankins » 26 Feb 2014 20:10

Our Michelle (Birdseye) has created this lovely vibrant poster of a early TR7 coupe. This will be a limited print run of only ten copies, and is available on a first come first served basis. I hope to be bringing them along to Stoneleigh this Sunday,as long as we get them back from the printers in time that is. If anyone would like one please just ask.

Roy - A great-looking car. Personally, I think white compliments the shape of the TR7 and Michelle's done a great job.

However, you need to state the size of the print and tell punters the price...

Well, the car needs a chrome AMCO luggage rack on the trunk, the U.S. Dealer side stripes, and the stainless steel wheel trim rings. Put these items on and you'll have what my car looks like.

Then you'll need to roll 165,000 miles on the odometer, a left hand steering wheel, and enough spare parts tucked into every nook and cranny to keep the car fixed for the next five years. Oh, and a full tool box.

Chris-thank you.

The car belongs to me and Michelle has my full permission to use the image in anyway she feels fit. (Red Tape) [:(!] what a load of Cr@@P.

Andrew- yes, that would help.

The poster will be A2 in size and printed on top quality paper. They are £12.00 each, £2.00 of which will be donated to Parkinson's UK.

Thanks

BMW owns the Triumph name and it's symbols (like the laurel leaf and have been aggressive in it's unauthorized use (presumably when the legal department got bored) which had the rumour department saying they were bringing back the marque. I don't think they can put any claims on the TR7 moniker as it is used on the Triumph motorcycle models (which they don't own) and on radio equipment (which annoyingly shows up on TR7 eBay searches unless you minus it out). I don't know if they can own the image of the car that is so long out of production if at all. Regardless they would not be concerned about low hanging fruit or they would need a larger legal department.

Keep those posters coming.

Was the front spoiler photo shopped out or is it missing on the car?
