The current setup:
Coil has a blue condenser/capacitor mounted next to it connected to the + side of the coil that includes a piggy back male connector (the green car doesn't)
There's a dual white/slate connector to the + side of the coil.
There's a white/yellow connector to the + side of the coil.
There's a purple wire from the distributor to the - side of the coil.
There's a white/slate (female) wire not connected next to the coil and when connected to the - side (thought was the tachometer) means the car won't start.
All wires look original, coil is 12v.
Any thoughts if similar to others or potential tachometer fix?
Ta.
