Weather Stip Clips

Hi,
Spent the day fitting a recon door to my DHC. Fitted the weather strip that goes on the outside of the door against the glass, normally getting the clips on is a total pain in the ar5sa [V] as you push one on another springs off or you dig a lump out of your finger [B)] or worse still your paint work [:(] BUT used the correct tool, apperently desined by Triumph themselves, and went on really easy [:D] Anyone going to change this strip, do yourself a huge favor and get one [;)]





And cheap as well [:D]

Hi Gaz,
Got mine from Rimmers in there last sale offer sheet but i am sure all the 'regular' suppliers list them.
Rimmers Bros part no. is-
RX 1562
There is a knack to using it, you have to push the seal down as you pull the clip up with the tool but once you work that out it really is easy [:)]

Cant see why not, will try tomorrow got a 'old' clip left (got new one's at the same time as the seal) so will put that on and let you know.
