At Billing i showed off some of my handy work to a selected few
but as it is still work in progress I didn't put it up here
I am now not far from complete
I will show you what i have been up to
well it all started off I wanted a very subtle look to the back
I removed the orange cover from the indicators
put in a direct replacement bulbs but it was not a good success too dull
so i started to look at other ways to do it
After many months I found a place that could supply me with full led boards
Amber , Red , white

I got a spare set of back lights and set about them
Put them in a mill and cut them down

This will let the light go strait out

I set about putting a back onto them using

and

At this stage I hold up my hands and say to the people who use this stuff
I salute you as it is a nightmare to use
As you see from my first attempt

After i finished it back on the mill

and infill with resin

Pop in some holes

and cut to fit cards

Put on some thin foam back

Insert the boards

I then put some aluminum paper to give some kind of reflective properties

some rough wiring
