What is the best thing to care for my cloth top? Just soap and water or is there something I should do to keep it looking and working good.

Original factory type vinyl, double duck or Mohair?

Mine's kept nice and clean and folded correctly underneath it's tonneau cover for the summer.[:D]

I have no idea what it's made from.Seems more clothy than vinal not as good as mohair so maybe duck.Incidently how many mohairs have to die to make aTR7 roof[:D]? If I had my way they should make the roofs from meercats,those robbin' vermin wanted £325 for insurance[:0].
All I know is it is a replacement roof in black.I have it folded correctly at the moment but it could do with a clean and how can i stop the plastic windows going yellow?

Renovo do a good range of hood care products - cleaners, reproofers & a plastic window polish.

Autoglym also has fabric hood maintenance products - I have always found their car care stuff to work very well, although I have not tried the hood care range.

By the way, your top could be canvas if it is a cloth material, kind of a half way between vinyl & double duck.

Don't forget, always compare the meerkat when looking at what to buy[:I]

I bought mine from the T.S.S.C. shop as it's fairly near to me.
I think HALFRAUDS stock it.

is that your car in the banner that goes with your posts wedggie? if so what happend to the full blue seats your window pic shows blue with mc triumph tartan.Just wondered.

10/10 for observation!
Been sitting on and looking at blue check for the past 14 years so time for a change. Recently purchased the blue seats, they have been repadded and finished in the blue without the standard check pattern.
so new door cards were fitted as well.
Have you spotted the bonnet badge fitted to the steering wheel centre?

A worth-while product I always use on the plastic windows is 'Plexus'. I buy it at local motorcycle stores. Originally intended for cleaning the plastic visors on my full-face helmets, it is great for keeping the windows clean N shiney. Spray it on, wipe it off and buff. Keeps em looking good. (also works great for cleaning tint on tinted windows without shortning the life of the tinting.)

I didn't notice the steering wheel centre but I do admire your fresh use of the bonnet badge.It is personal yet triumph inspired[^].I love the new seats as well.I wanted a re trim for my car but the bills just to get it on the road have swallowed my funds[:(].
Also thankyou windy for the tip on 'plexus' I have some of that from my biker days but never thought to use it.I have sold the bike now as I can't have more than one vehicle at a time to play with.I got fed up with pushing it anyway as it kept breaking down.Good training for my tr eh[;)].It was a Honda 400 super dream if you were wondering(keep it retro I'm a 70s/80s kinda girl[;)]).Bloody thing was more like a nighmare!!!

Used to ride too eh. I still do, been for the last 23-25yrs on the road (actually longer off road, before I got my drivers license)

On all my wedges, they all had black tops. If they were really dirty Id just wash them with the same soap used to wash the car with a soft brush. I kept a 'california-duster' in each wedge, and would dust off the top before putting it down. If I had a hole on any of the three plastic windows I would use a product called 'Plumbers-Goop' sealant to seal the hole. It held well and even tho the sun would slightly discolor the glue, it still would hold. Also with the three plastic windows, if they were hazed or scratched I would use Meguires #2-fine cut cleaner followed by any good plastic polish. Then use the Plexus now and then to keep it clean & clear from there.
