DON'T DO IT!!!!! I don't have these on my Tr, but I do have them on my Bimmer DD. I didn't install the kit - I bought the car that way. It looks cool & I get lots of "that's kewl" comments at the local convience stores.
BUT, the truth is that they are a royal pain in the a$$. The interior door panels are shot to hell. They rub in the front and the added presure on the door handles has pulled the panels apart. My wife has a hard time with the doors - they have gas struts to assist opening and closing, but it still takes some strength. The biggest issue is in closing the doors. You pretty much need both hands - one to pull the handle and the other to guide the door. As the doors can raise up, you have to make sure that the latches line up perfectly or the latches just bang against each other. If they were completely motorized, that would be different & worth looking at.
Lambo style doors are so outdated even Lamborghini doesn't use them anymore
Just my humble opinon.
