Snow Fun !!

Postby Wayne S » 07 Feb 2009 19:29

Thought I'd let the Grinnall out to play in the snow today and had great fun sliding about! Main routes are clear but the backroads are still great fun, just got to watch that the low slung front spoiler doesnt turn into a snow plough.

Had a moment when I nearly didnt get out of the country park car park, (now an icy hill) but apart from that had a great laugh.

I got some real funny looks, one car with two women almost stopped mid roundabout as they pointed in shock at the fact I had my roof down!![:0]

Never had so many funny looks driving and you should have seen the people's faces in Tesco car park as I picked up beer supplies - cant understand it, but do I care? [:D]

It's moments like today, roof down, V8 rumbling away, back end sideways that you realise what all the hours tinkering in the garage were for [8D]

I just don't understand the fascination for snow you Brits show...

Snow is just a cold, heavy, need-to-be-cleared-off-the-driveway, nuisance - imho.
It returns every damn winter, you just can't avoid it...

ah reminds me of coming up to Malvern three years ago not snow but Rain. took the drophead and when i left Sunny Southampton it was exactley that but just past Newbury it started raining, but beliving the hype i kept on going and kept a close eye on the drivers seat.

yep i wasn't getting wet by oxford it was Hissing down but i wasn't stopping [:D] people around me looked on in disbelief, but nope not a drop in the car...

just when the A and B roads were looming and i was getting near Malvern the rain stopped Wow unbelivable but true, didin't get wet at all.

True i had to time roundabouts just right, and i'm sure i entertained the public that day, but i and the interior were as dry as we strted out.

so well done Wayne FUN FUN FUN all the way
