Large amounts of paint (CCK)

Postby UKPhilTR7 » 29 Aug 2008 12:04

I have a few parts that need painting and I will be taking them to a paint shop soon to have them done.

The amounts I need will be more than a few spray cans and I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good shops/places I can get a few tins of CCK from at a good price. I know you can get them from Halfords, but when you talk tins, the cost goes up quite a lot and I was looking for a little cheaper.

I got some touch up in Cavalry Blue for my car from these people:

Paint was fine, & quick service. Might be worth a look or an enquiry.

A paint-shop will have it's own supply of paint - it won't want to use paint you bring along! But why not get some cellulose paint and a simple spray gun - it's not that difficult. Just beware - the paint and thinners are highly flammable - and must be used in a 'well ventilated' area - I do my spraying outdoors (dry warm day obviously) after making myself very unwell spraying inside the garage a few years ago.
