The shaky underbody shot appears to show 2 x tubular manifolds exiting the engine bay on opposite sides, so V8 I presume?
I've always been a sucker for 4 x exhaust pipes sticking out the back like this one. In the 70's the wealthy family down the end of my road had a V12 E type which they used as a run around / shopping car. It had 4 pipes out the back - amazing when you're a teenager. Looking back I think it was made from one or two pressings that formed 4 tubes which bolted on to the 2 pipes running under the boot.
S & S offered a twin system many years ago with both rear boxes having 2 x exit pipes. I almost went for it but settled for the single pipe instead.
Not all 4 x pipes float my boat now. For almost 5 years I commuted into Central London by motorbike. BMW M3 drivers almost wiped me out several times with their ducking & diving in heavy traffic. Rant over. Apologies if I've included one of us unfairly in a stereotype.
Cheers,
Adam
