TR7 Front Fogs

Postby mak » 18 Oct 2014 10:31

Managed to find some original front fog brackets for a FHC at last.

If anyone else is looking managed to find them from TD Fitchetts in Telford - great customer service and really good to deal with.

(part nos YKC855 and YKC854)

Never quite figured out how they fit from looking at the diagrams. Do we have any pictures showing exactly where they go?
Why are they different to the DHC, I assume its because of the rubber bumper mounts.
Just to confuse things I am using the FHC bumper on my car so the FHC brackets might work for me.

Could you post a photo of the brackets please?

Thanks,

Steve

Will see if I can work out how to post a photo.

They look the same as these for the FHC: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ItemImages/ ... 006232.gif
Only they are handed and the drawing for the bracket is upside down and 90 deg out. Basically the two holes bolt to the body and the slotted hole bolts to the hole in the bottom of the bumper.

I presume the DHC ones fit only into the body due to the rubber mounts like you say?
