I bought one to put onto the TR7 but turns out the ratios are completely wrong unless you rebuild it (not worth the cost). You need a rear wheel drive version from a MG RV8. The version I bought was a 5-speed R380 but mated to a Peugeot gearbox - maybe the LDV version?
