Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Had a good day yesterday

Postby UKPhilTR7 » 06 Apr 2014 21:21

Yesterday, I went down to the garage and looked at one of them simple jobs that I should of done ages ago, replace the passenger side widow mechanism. I took of the door cars and the old mechanism came out ok. The new one went in easy and worked a treat. I dropped the smallest of screws from the door latch and managed to find it. Needle in a hay stack comes to mind. Then my girl started straight away.

After some time in the garage we went up and started on the gaiter. The new vinyl was going on a treat. All in all a rare day where things seem to just go right with my car. Hope the next visit is like that.

That only happens to me when I am working on someone else's car...

Life is rough!

No good getting old, if you don't get lucky.
