Where abouts in the UK are you Fergie? There are probably several of us with original steel wheels or old alloys in the garage that could help you out. If you have uprated front brakes then you may have problems fitting 13" steel wheels over some of the calipers.
I wouldn't drive with a "spacesaver" size wheel on the rear, let alone two, unless it was an emergency get me home solution. I didn't think Dolly wheels fitted our PCD's though.
Maestro and Montego wheels are a direct fit onto TR7's as well. They're even cheaper than MGF or MGTF wheels when they appear on Ebay. Also have a look at the parts section on this forum for wheels as they appear every now and again.
