What i found facinating was the amount of guys who came up to me who used to work on the production line or used to test drive these cars for BL, they had fascinating stories to tell, maybe an idea there John Clancy eh!
One used to test drive the TR8 and told of tales where they had to load the boot with tools to stop the rear end spinning out Ohhh so true.
What was refreshing was the fact that i didn't here one bad word for the seven only praise and lack of understanding of why they are so underated.
lots of interest from people thinking of buying one to restore etc,
Unfortunatly J Clancy the battery died on me on Sunday so i couldn't play your DVD that day but it certanly grabbed the attention, with at least 1 guy who virtually watched the whole thing [:D]
and you are right Chris Phil Humphries must be thanked and praised for a Job well done.
oh yeh i did try and get the Waxoyl girls to have a break and come down to our car stand but they were under orders not to move [:p] now that would of been interesting to see eh. all i got for my efforts was a calander [:D]
will have to send Guy next time he might have more luck
