I picked up a copy of the mag last night, good write up and nice pics- looks like a very sorted motor. Clearlya lot of time and effort has benwell spent.
Interesting how they always feel the need to off load the history of British Leyland and the demise of UK car manufacturing whenever they get a decent TR7 TR8 in the pages, I don't know whether I'm just getting old but I think it was a lot to do with Government policies and poor management rather than Harrris Mann's creation!

Hi spanner, thanks for your positive comments about the car. Yes, many hours of blood sweat and tears went into the resto. I was pleased with the write-up as they reproduced the story of the car pretty faithfully. I agree that the history of British Leyland's downfall is often spun out with such articles but on the positive side the editor of Classics Monthly is definitely a friend of the TR7/8 unlike certain personalities out there in the world of Classic Car media.

Hi,

Had a look at the article up the library tonight, some may call it Sainsbury's  Good article, featuring fantastic picture of a superb car, well done sir.

Cheers John
