front suspension damper bump stop

Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

I have purchased a set of SuperPro bump-stops too and will be fitting them shortly. They look so much better than the ones that I have taken off.

Is that a polly bush that I can see on your pans?

Looks like the short cone type would be the best choice with either standard or lowered set up.
From the Triumphtune manual - "An interesting modification here was the use of special Triumphtune shorter bumpstops. This is not just to take account of the lower ride height, but to try and give the car a useful amount of suspension travel before the stop came into action. On the standard care there is only 1 1/4 inches of movement before hitting the stops, and as the suspension settles with age this can become even less. The new stop allows three inches of travel before it comes into play, even with the shorter springs, and so gives the car much more predictable handling."

When updating my suspension a couple years ago S&S sold me 1 of the same stop as in Bean's 1st picture. Then they instructed me to cut it in half and install half in each side.

I had to use half height bumpstops in the 8.

Quite a bit lowered, with full stops it hit too easily, & with none it was bottoming hard enough to self destruct on our less than perfect roads.
