Yes, went yesterday to the show, I thought the stand looked ace and my kids had great fun finding my car on the tr7 flank. I loved the cars, they were a credit to their owners and the club.
I would have loved to hang around and listen to the interviews along with the multitudes, but I am afraid the three ankle biters were less interested in listening to the learned gents and more interested in spending my hard earned on toys. (three cokes, two coffees and a couple of muffins from the 2cv café killed us for £14, you can feed a family of four for a week in Lincolnshire for that!)
I do now know what it feels like to be a dog in a lamp post factory, my wish list grew with every stand but the best ones were the ones that weren't too full, like the TRDC, where you felt welcomed in and then part of it all.
Good to meet John wood, good luck with the film guys, can't wait, and then had a long chat with a chap from Wales before realising we were practically namesakes, Kelvin meet Calvin etc..
Rob, struggled to find eastern stand, now I know why, hohum. Next time maybe.
What did everyone think of the TR7 bit next door? I thought the car was superb, lovely example.
