Reproduction Red, White and Blue BL Rally Jackets

Some of you will have seen the first generation (and best!) rally jacket Gordon Birtwistle brought along for me at the weekend. This was a great and very unexpected surprise but best of all, Gordon had only ever worn it once and it had been kept in a dark wardrobe ever since. Unlike the later jackets which were of slightly dubious quality, this one is perfect and doesn't look out of date today.
So, as people expressed an interest in getting their own I am investigating the possibility of a totally reproduced jacket with the original Leyland helmet logo on the left breast. I doubt reproducing this jacket will prove to be cheap and I guess in excess of £125 per unit so can you let me know if there is still an interest in this before committing to this project. A post on this thread is all that is required at this stage.
John.

We're thinking of two sizes - a 44 and a 48. The one I have (which looks so very good on my lean, mean body!) is a 44. This would fit people like Roy Hankins and John Wood but would 48 be okay for the rest of you?
Troy, let me have the link for that rally jacket if you have it because some of them had white zips (mine has blue) and were made out of a shiny material. This jacket is much better than those.
Drop me an email anybody who is interested and I'll get a decent picture of what I am proposing to reproduce.

I still have my original 1973 team jacket. Made by " TYRE TEX" . Blue with two 12mm white stripes around right sleeve at chest level. Mounted across the white stripes is the rectangular British Leyland badge. My photos don't seem to attach to this site or i would send.[?]

I'm still investigating possible small (preferably one-man band) people to reproduce the pattern and manufacture the jacket but assuming this is successful I expect we'll need a few more interested parties to make it affordable. We haven't exactly been overwhelmed by responses yet but it's early days.

John, I would be interested but the price would be the governing factor.
Somewhere in excess of £125 would be too much for me.

I don't think it's likely to be cheaper Tony because these will have to be hand made. I'm still investigating but it looks like I may have been a little hopeful with such a small sum considering the work involved but I'll persevere.
