Petrol pi££ing from one of the float chamber

Postby john » 29 May 2009 21:30

THey say bad luck comes in three's the master switch, windscreen and now this changed this not long ago and when i looked last time there was a lot of muck inside the chamber so i'm guessing the only real way to sort this is a new tank.

Do you already have an inline fuel filter? Maybe you can capture enough this way to avoid replacing the tank.

Hi,
Must be the age 'our cars ' are at but there seams to be a huge amount of tank related problems over the last few years, talking at Duxford at the weekend and Robsport have supplied 50+ tanks in the last year [:0]
The filter will poss only put of the inevitable replacement dont forget there is a filter already on the pick up if it has'nt already fell off [xx(]
Cheers John
