As mine were off the car for several months the petrol had evaporated and left behind some gunge that had now solidified and left some rather hard lumps in the bowls & crevices. I guess now ive been driving the car around the new petrol had started dissolving this now solidified gunge and so sticking needles occur............
Any way blew all the above out with the commpressor today soaked up the petrol in the float chambers with an old sponge, cleanded like i should have before another blow out with commpressed air, new gaskets on the float tops and i'm crossing my fingers all is well.
I guess the moral of the story is not to do half a job[:(]
I went for a little drive and all seems to be holding[:D]
One thing i noticed when i came back after my drive the dash pots were covered in condensation almost icy it was a hot day today and were driving for about 1/2 an hour i'm sure its normal but just something i've never noticed before
It rides again..... and again wehey!!!!!!!
