Service Counters

Postby wedgewa » 24 Feb 2010 17:29

Looking for some crossover info regarding the Smiths service interval counters. I may have a source for some NOS but there are several variations and these do not have TR part numbers.
If you have a fuel injection TR7 and the Smiths numbers on your counter are readable, I'd really like to know what they are. Mine are worn off and can't be read anymore.

The number in question should read something like "SIC 1002/125" (or other numbers in that format) followed by some other numbers, usually 3 digits. None of these numbers are Triumph numbers.

Also, while my need relates to injected cars, if you have a readable counter in a carb version, I can check availability for those also.

In general, the housings are all the same but the mileage interval and the electrical connections change.
